My New Stylist

It's amazing how people come into your life, isn't it?

Carley Cofield jumped on the BG team as the choreographer and creative director for the new music video which will be dropping sometime in April 2017 for the 'I Try' single.

She helped every part of the way, including creating the storyline to shopping for the perfect outfit, to take me from the smiley folk singer I was to the dance pop boss lady I felt like during this incredibly vulnerable shoot!

Battle Of The Bands - Warped Tour!

Had a blast checking out the bands on May 9th in Los Angeles. I was honoured to judge for Warped Tour's Battle of the Bands.

I always found a trend that the performers that seemed to be up on stage for their own love of it, was more fun to watch, as they gave the audience permission to let go and get into it alongside them.

William's Syndrome Awareness - Drum Circle!!

I was invited to perform and host a drum circle for the William's Syndrome Awareness Month event on May 22nd at Santa Monica Beach. What a beautiful day and beautiful kids.

Williams syndrome (WS) is a genetic condition that is present at birth and can affect anyone.  It is characterized by medical problems, including cardiovascular disease, developmental delays, and learning disabilities.  These often occur side by side with striking verbal abilities, highly social personalities and an affinity for music.

New Christmas Music Video To End 2015

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

I am so excited to start 2016 and I think this new music video is a perfect way to end 2015. My song Goodnight is a jammy tune and in the video you see my character getting ready for my Christmas party, with the help of my best friends Ally and Jason. As the party gets started, I am looking forward to my online date Dan to stop by at some point. During Christmas games and dancing, I find conflict by an unexpected love triangle I'm faced with.

While writing the concept for the video, I wanted to match the songs flirty energy and I got to work with all my new LA friends that I had a chance to meet this past year.

I worked with people I met from doing short films, background work, musicals, and random gigs! You never know who you're going to meet and how they are going to effect your life!

This project was also the first project I ever produced, meaning finding funding and putting the team together, amongst other things :)

My incredible endorsements include:

Shane at Salon Michele in Encino, CA do my hair cut and color
Mrs. Charlier donating the shirt I wear in the video and the jewelry you see all the fancy ladies wearing
Elizabeth Goesse at Sugar Mama's Cupcakes donating these amazing cupcakes you'll see in the music video, which definitely kept the crew happy
WFG's Success by Design for a financial contribution

Please do stay tuned for contests once the video launches! #GoodnightMusicVideo

CITY: Edmonton

NEWS YOU’D LIKE TO SHARE?

Last April I decided to challenge myself.  Do something completely outside my comfort zone.  I have always wanted to earn extra money for myself.  'Fun money' so to speak.  Money, that I could use to spoil myself and my family.  This idea came full circle when I hosted a Stella and Dot trunk show.

The Stylist was so friendly and the more I spoke to her about Stella & Dot the more I realized that she really loved this part time fun job.  I decided to get some more information and investigate on my own.

Not only did I find an amazing company but fell in love with the concept of empowering women to be their own boss, work around their schedules and to have fun.  So I decided to jump in and join.  That was almost a year ago and I have never looked back.

Now an Associate Stylist with Stella & Dot, with my own team…. I love my part time job!!  I get to spend my weekends with amazing hostess who host Stella & Dot trunkshows.  I come and style a group of ladies with our beautiful jewelry!!  Doesn’t get much better than that!!

UPCOMING GOALS:

To build my own team of strong empowering women who will love Stella and Dot as much as I do.

AS A COMMUNITY, HOW CAN WE HELP YOU:

Let me share with you Stella and Dot!!!  Join my team or host a trunkshow!
